    The earliest attempt of creating a law for the Romans, and it was a basic 12 laws. This is important because after that, they could further develop laws.

    Rome was found (753 BCE)

    Romulus and Remus found the city of Rome. This is important because obviously if Rome wasn't found everythung couldv'e been way different than it is now.
  • Birth of Jesus Christ (3 BCE)

    The birth of Jesus Christ is obviously important because that is what started some religions and puts us in the years we have today.
  • Marc Antony and Cleopatra commit suicide (31 BCE)

    With a Romeo and Juliet love story, Antony commits suicide thinking Cleopatra already did. This is important because Shakespeare got most of his clever plays from ancient times in Rome, Greece ext.
  • Julius Caesar was assassinated (44 BCE)

    Julius Caesar was assassinated on the Ides of March, and this was a low point in Rome's history and caused a lot of rioting and drama. He was murdered by the approx. 60 senators.
  • Julius Caesar becomes a dictator (49 BCE)

    Caesar helps Rome by helping the poorer side of Rome, and making Rome in general richer. This made many of the rich Romans mad. This was a very important time in Roman history, for this is when Rome had it's highest points.
  • Julius Caesar takes control, not alone (60 BCE)

    Julius Caesar win an election for 59BCE in 60BCE, with Pompey and Crassus. This is important because this is only the start of the very important Julius Caesar story.
  • Great Fire Destroys Rome (64 CE)

    The Great Fire was very important, because without it, the Colosseum may not have been built in such an iconic place, and maybe not as important as it is now.
