Ronchamp coal mine
The Ronchamp coal mine located in Eastern France. The mine constitutes of three municipalities, the mine was operational for two centuries. Ronchamp coal mine was established in the mid-eighteenth century. The mine was unique due to the extraction techniques used by the people at that time, the first real Coal Extraction Shaft was introduced in this mine. The mine became one of the deepest coal mine in France at that period. The end date of the project is in 1958.
