Japan launched a surprise torpedo attack on Port Arthur. On January 9th 1905 Japan destroyed the Russian Baltic fleet which ended the war with Japan winning. -
Bloody Sunday
peaceful demonstrator appeared at the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg to present a petition. Meanwhile the Imperial Guard shot down and killed 200 people and wounded 800. -
