The Russian Revolution was created by the Enlightment era in 5 different ways such as Hobbes, Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau, and Voltaire.

  • Hobbes

    Believed that there should be one ruler to make all the choices and whatever they wanted they got(Lecture Notes).

  • Locke

    The goverment gives 3 things to the people Life, Liberty, and Proberty and the Russian leader isn't giving the people any of these(Lecture Notes).

  • Montesquieu

    This ties in with the idea of Montesquieu of how 3 groups decide the issues together(Lecture Notes).

  • Rousseau

    Rousseau believes that the people and the government should have a social contract and if the government isn't following that the people are allowed to leave(Lecture Notes).

  • 1917 Russian Reveolution

    The people over powered Czer and eventually became a dominent poltical force and helped the people. Rousseau brought this idea that the people should have a social contract with the goverment to better the country and so the people have a vote to who they want to lead them(Lexumburg).

    The Russians were upset that Nicolas the Czar, had demolished The Parliment when they disagreed with him. This ties into Seperation of Powers and Montesquieu brought this idea to beleave that not one but 3 different types of groups should make a choice for a better result and better country(Lexumburg).
