  • Ticonderoga

    Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys seize Fort Ticonderoga.Fort Ticonderoga which is situated between Lake George and Lake Champlain in upstate New York.During the American retreat south gun fire was exchanged with both sides experiencing minor casualties
  • Bunker Hill

    the battle of Trenton took place near Trenton new jersey. Hessians suffered significant losses with 22 dead, 83 wounded, and nearly 1,100 troop captured. Amercians only suffered 2 dead and 5 wounded. amecians won against hessian troops
  • Saratga

    marched into New York from Canada. The victory gave new life to the Americans. It was also defended by less than 200 German soldiers and officers --no match for the nearly 1300 American soldiers attacking it.Because of the incredible impact caused by the American victory in the Battles of Saratoga
  • Cowpens

    American Revolutionary War took place just north of the town of Cowpens in South Carolina.The estimated casualties for the British were 110 dead, more than 200 wounded, and 500 taken prisoner; compared to only 12 killed and approximately 60 American soldiers wounded.The Battle of Cowpens was an important victory for the Americans. It damaged British morale while boosting the morale of the Americans.
  • Yorktown

    The battle took place in Yorktown Virginia from September 28th of 1781 through October 19th 1781.The Americans had a fighting force of approximately 8,800 who were aided by 7,800 French soldiers against a British force of about 6,000.The defeat of the British at Yorktown prompted the British government to negotiate an end to the American Revolution .
