  • Middle Grades Program Started

    In 1994 an addition to the IB Diploma program, middle grades programs were added. Increasing number of IB schools,

  • 1997 Primary Schools Program added

    This was the logical addition after adding the middle grades and by 2001 there were 2000 schools worldwide.

  • 2012 Career Related Diploma

    Allows for more student success. Students can participate in the IB program and be career ready after High School. This is something public schools need to revisit

  • Predicted event for IB in the 2025

    A greater focus on Environment. Must be nurtured from Primary and enriched thereafter. Possibly more exchange between nations for students to really experience what is happening elsewhere. World view very important.

  • Prediction for 2040

    IB style schools will be the norm. The learned acceptance and value of others will be necessary to continue to ensure health and well being of all nations.

  • 2050 World Peace--if not peace--world cooperation

    IB students well aware of the expectations of the Paris Climate Summit and have improved conditions on earth. Diploma students have gone on to become diplomats, world leaders and scientists, doctors and of course teachers. Career students have designed, engineered technologies removing carbon, growing food in a sustainable manner. Developing nations are developed sustainably.
