it started in 1921 and lasted for about a year. killing an aproximate 6 million people. -

Lenin dies
As Lenin dies there was no clear visual of him being successful in what he wanted to achieve. With his death it came between two other men to compete to win the heart of their nation and fulfil their idea of what their county should be like. -
Joseph Stalin rises to power
Joseph Stalin shortly after Lenin's death assured himself a good place at Lenin's dying side which after a long sting of shaddy dealings and fixed political shows he eliminated any and all competition for himself and took up total power over the USSR. -
Holodomor
started in 1932 and ended in 33. Was a man made famine as the Soviets refused any aid for their people. Was an extermination by hunger. -
Soviet Constitution
Redisigned the government of the Soviet Union. Many changes like repealing voting restrictions. General benefits to all. -
Non-Agression pact with Nazi Germany
Was an agreed document that niether side would attack each other between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. -

As Germany pushed into Russia, Russia burned everything they had before the Axis could get to it. -

Hitler goes against the non agression pact and attacks the Soviets catching them somewhat by surprise. -
