  • STS-1

    STS-1
The first orbital flight of NASA's Space Shuttle program. It was launched on the 12th of April 1981. It returned on the 14th of April.
  • Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster

    Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster
It broke apart 73 seconds into its flight leading to the death of its seven crew members. Which also included five of the NASA astronauts. Also two payload specialists.
  • Hubble Telescope Launched.

The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was launched into low Earth orbit in 1990, and remains in operation. Hubble's orbit outside the distortion of Earth's atmosphere allows it to take extremely high-resolution images with negligible background light. Although not the first space telescope, Hubble is one of the largest and most versatile, and is well known as both a vital research tool and a public relations boon for astronomy.
  • Alan B. Shepard

He became the fifth and oldest person to walk on the moon and he also commanded the Apollo 14 mission. This Mercury flight was designed to enter space, but not to achieve orbit. Ten years later, at age 47 and the oldest astronaut in the program, Shepard commanded the Apollo 14 mission, piloting the lander to the most accurate landing of the Apollo missions.
  • STS-107 flight insignia

During the launch of the Columbia's 28th mission a piece of foam insulation broke off from the shuttle external tank then struck the left wing. After the disaster it was suspended for more than two years. The mission launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on 16 January 2003, and during its 16 days in orbit conducted a multitude of international scientific experiments.
  • Hayabusa

This is the first time it landed on an asteroid and ever to come back to earth safely. Hayabusa studied the asteroid's shape, spin, topography, colour, composition, density, and history. It returned to Earth aboard the spacecraft on 13 June 2010.
  • Mars Exploration Rover B or 1

Landed in Meridiani Planum in 2004 three weeks after its twin Spirit. After Spirit got stuck in 2009 Oppotunity remains active as of 2015. By achieving many plans by 10 years,347 days.
  • Spirit or kown as MER-A or MER-2

Spirit or kown as MER-A or MER-2
Robotic rovers on Mars it was active during 2004 up to 2010.Successfully landed on Mars at 4:35. But before three weeks before its twin Oppunity landed on the other side.
  • Atlantis Last Space Shuttle

Was the fourth shuttle constructed but also the last one to also fly into space. This space shuttle gained a reputation of being the unsung workhorse. In the shuttle fleet it sent alot of satellite into the space.
  • International Space Station completed

The International Space Station (ISS) is a space station, or a habitable artificial satellite, in low Earth orbit. The ISS serves as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory in which crew members conduct experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology and other fields. The station is suited for the testing of spacecraft systems and equipment required for missions to the Moon and Mars.
