    Space Raspberries and Rum

    Space Raspberries and Rum
This topic might seem odd but some scientists think that the galaxy smells like raspberries and tastes like rum. The date that this was discovered is unknown by the research I did. The smell comes from these dust clouds in the galaxy. Among the chemicals for which signals were found was ethyl formate (C3H6O2). This is something in the dominate flavour in raspberries and some things in rum.

    Himiko

    Himiko
This thing is a very large gas cloud. When this was discovered scientists said that it might be the biggest thing in the early universe. This is located about 12.9 billion light-years from earth. This was discovered 800 million years after the Big Bang.

    Other Universes

    Other Universes
There is some kind of theory to this and it governed by its own laws of physics. A lot of scientists think that this theory is not true because there is no evidence or mathematical law for it. (GEEZ, stop trying to be smart with math stuff!) The people who believe this say that there is also nothing to disprove this. (HAH SCIENTISTS!) This could be answered if we could get there but for now, it's pretty much impossible.
  • Castor Star

    Castor Star
The castor is a star that has... well 2 stars "put" together. The castor star was discovered in 1718 but the month and day were never recorded. This star is one of the brightest stars in space and it is found in the Gemini symbol. It is very far away from the sun and of course, the Earth.
  • UFO Sightings by NASA Astronauts

    UFO Sightings by NASA Astronauts
NASA astronauts are some of the most highly trained and specialized people in the world. Often, they are expert scientists that can explain almost anything. This incident happened in 1963. A astronaut was at the end of his 22 orbit solo journey around the Earth when he said that out of one of his windows he could see a glowing green object fastly approaching him. The object then made a sharp turn and shot away. Aliens have been known for many years and things are yet to be uncovered.
  • "White" Hole

    "White" Hole
One of Albert Einstein’s greatest accomplishments was the proving the existence of black holes. From the big things in technology, we now have been able to find several black holes, and believe one to be at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The cool thing is that he proved that white holes also exist. The exact opposite of black holes, white holes are believed to “spit out” an incredible amount of matter from seemingly nothing. Wow!
  • Gamma Ray Bursts

    Gamma Ray Bursts
Gamma ray bursts, which are also called brightest electro-magnetic events in the universe. These things release more energy in a few seconds than a normal star will during its full lifetime, and we've only ever seen them in distant galaxies. At most, they last for a few minutes. The cause is still unknown. These have been correlated with very distant galaxies, but most correlate with nothing!
  • Gliese 436 b

    Gliese 436 b
This is a planet like Neptune but the odd thing about this planet is that it is made of hot ice. So the planet is coated with hot ice! Wow! The planet was discovered by R. Paul Butler and Geoffrey Marcy in 2004.
  • Diamond Planet

    Diamond Planet
This planet was first detected passing in front of its bigger star in 2011, the close-in planet orbits its star in only 18 hours. As a result, surface temperatures reach an uninhabitable 3,900 degrees Fahrenheit (2,150 degrees Celsius)—which, along with carbon, make perfect conditions for creating diamonds.
  • Hypervelocity Stars

    Hypervelocity Stars
The date of when this star was found was May 7th, 2014. This was the closest hypervelocity stars that were found to the earth. You may wonder what is a hypervelocity star. Well, a hypervelocity star is a star that speeds more than 1 million mph. The star might provide clues about a very massive black hole at the center of our Milky Way.
