    Cortes was a Spanish conquistador who explored Mexico and encountered the Aztecs, starting a war that eventually wiped out the Aztec civilization, keeping the gold and all the treasures founded, encouraging the other explorer to look for more gold.

    De Vaca was one of the original 300 men under the command of Narvaez until it shipwrecked which only 80 men survived going to Galveston he then became a medicine man and after performing the first surgery he escaped with Esteban finding the Spanish after going through the wild for seven years claiming they had heard about the city of Cibola which Esteban went on while De Vaca fought for Indians rights until he was framed and exiled to Africa

    Fray Marcos and Esteban went on a journey to find Cibola the city of gold and ended up getting Esteban killed by the native Americans after going to a town which he believed was Cibola while Fray Marcos reported that they had found Cibola

    Coronado searched for the two cities of Cibola and Quivira which Turk led him too even though Turk lied about it and was then killed which made coronado come back to mexico as a failure (which turned out to have laid claim to the panhandle) which made the spanish not send anyone to texas for 150 years
