    I Saint Thomas More went on and continued my studies in a university called Oxford University and I studied law. The period of time that I stayed in this university is for two years to study law. Throughout my studies in Oxford University I wrote comedies and studied Greek and Latin literature. The first task that I had to complete was an English translation of a Latin biography an Italian humanist.

    I Saint Thomas more married Jane Colt in 1505. Jane Colt was almost 10 year younger then I. Also my friends always said I was quiet and good-natured.

    I Saint Thomas more tried and convicted for treason. The reason I convict for treason is because I refused to take the oath of the Act of Succession.

    I died on the 6 July 1535 at the age of 57. beheaded on Tower Hill alongside Bishop Fisher. The area i died in is Tower Hill, Liberties of the Tower of London, Tower Hamlets
    Kingdom of England. My final words were "The King's good servant, but God's First."
  • CANONIZED

    CANONIZED
    Four hundred years after my death, I Saint Thomas More was canonized. I was canonized in the Catholic Church by Pope Pius XI. Later on I was proudly declared the patron saint of politicians and statesmen by Pope John Paul II.
