    • The purpose of this training will be to inform staff about copyright laws in order to lessen and ultimately stop the number of copyright infringements occurring in our district.

    • The purpose of this training is to inform teachers about the importance and ease of properly crediting all sources used in lesson planning. It is also so that teachers may affectively teach their students how to cite their sources for projects and assignments.

    • The purpose of this training will be to show teachers a website designed to support each curriculum in the Pennsylvania education system.
    • One 3-hour session
    • LGI room and laptops
    • Topics: an overview of the site, components of the site, and using the site
    • For teachers
    • No prerequisites
    • Content: purpose and uses of the site, creating an account, navigating the site, and applying it to individual curriculum.

  • SIRS Discoverer

    • The purpose of this training is to inform teachers of a valuable research database that students and teachers may access for free from school and home.
    • One 2-hour session

    • Topics will include an overview of the site, uses, and demonstrations

    • Content: Key features, conducting searches, examples of classroom uses, demonstrations, and individual practice.

    • The purpose of this training is to inform teachers of a valuable use of technology to further enrich their classrooms.
    • One 3-hour session.
