  • The iPhone is released

    The iPhone is released
    Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone on January 9th, 2007, and it was released to the public on June 29th, 2007. iPhones have since been largely regarded as one of the top smartphones on the market.   • First SMARTboard in one of my classes

    August of 2010 is the earliest I can remember a SMARTboard being in one of my classes. Slowly the county started to replace traditional whiteboards and overhead projectors with SMARTboards. This allowed classroom engagement outside of walking up and writing on the board. This marked a switch for the county to incorporate more technology within the educational setting.
  • 4K TVs are released

    4K resolution TVs became available in 2012 and became prominent in homes around 2014/2015. 4K is still the most common highest resolution in cameras and TVs, but more and more 8K cameras and TVs are becoming available.
  • ChatGPT is released

    ChatGPT allows users to refine and steer a conversation towards a desired length, format, style, level of detail, and language. Within seconds, users have answers to any question they have and it can write detailed responses to any prompt.
