    Child Centered Education
    I chose child centered education because it brought forth more child friendly environments and educators. It also bring light on how today's pre school and kindergarten classes use other methods besides text from books.

    Roberts vs City of Boston
    A giant step for African Americans and other people of color. This opened the eyes of educators and education boards about safer and more equal teaching opportunities and environments. I believe no matter the time period or economic prosperity of a community should influence the performance or a school's facilities.

    Booker T Washington
    Booker T Washington was a huge influence for African Americans. He created a great foundation for African American Education. He gave the African people a non violent reputation keeping the ethnic issues peaceful between Africans and White Americans. Which ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation should not interject in a students ability to learn. Keeping the peace is a great example of cohesion even if it was mostly one sided until desegregation.

    Without this law or definition of disabled person(s) handicapped people would be far behind in our own education system. It opened the door for those who wanted to learn, but could not. I believe this highly influenced the rise of Schools for the Blind and Schools for the deaf.

    Using technology to connect in an educational environment is important because it connects students and teachers alike in creating a better faster paced education. It also makes educational opportunities more affordable and diverse for international students. It is also important in using the technology already available and is being created.
