America begins there first air campaign against enemy forces in Afghanistan. Taliban forces were defeated swiftly with almost no American casualties. -
The Second Iraq War
America and coalition forces began a missile bombardment campaign against Saddam's forces. Then land forces were deployed, this was another swift defeat with minimum casualties. -
Bush Wins a Second Term
American soldiers captured Saddam raisning Bush's approval rating. But was criticized for a sloppy war. His opponent, Kerry, wasn't define on his stance for issues, weakening him. Bush was getting support from religious and conservatives by supporting that marriage was a bond between man and woman. -

One of the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. Category five hurricane. Hundreds of people died. -
McCain vs Obama
McCain was the republican candidate. His vice was Palin who had little experience in politics. Which critics pointed out when McCain pointed out that Obama has had little experience in politics too. Obama got more campaign money from private businesses, and criticized the republicans for the war in Iraq. Obama was also able to get young supporters, unlike McCain. -
