What Happened: In 1755, The British sent troops to Nova Scotia, and The Expulsion of the Acadians began. During 1755 to 1764, 10,000 Acadians were expelled from Nova Scotia because the British didn't trust them because of their French roots. Effect: This was considered to be the first act of war.
