  • The battle of Fort Necessity

    George Washington was badly out numbered. His troops were hurt, many were dead and several dying. That leaded to his surrender to the French.
  • The battle of Fort Beausejour

    There were 2,000 British soldiers. There were only 162 french soldiers. British forces hoped to capture fort Beausejour to gain control of the nearby Isthmus of chignecto. Since there was only 162 French soldiers they only lasted thirteen days. They surrendered June 16.
  • The battle of Ticonderoga

    There were 16,000 British soldiers under the command of Generals Howe and Abercrombie. There were about 3200 French forces under the command of Louis-Joseph de Montcalm. Just before the main attack, General Howe was killed in a skirmish. After General Howe died General Abercrombie was in complete control. He ordered a direct assault on the fort, without waiting for his cannons to be put together and put in place. The french were easily able to withstand the attack.The British had to retreat.
  • The battle of Lake George

    British forces allied with the Mohawk Indians. There were 1,500 British soldiers and 200 Mohawk Indians under the command of William Johnson. The French also allied with Indian. They had a total of 3,500 troops. Even though French had more troops they still lost to the British. This was the first important victory for the British.
  • The battle of Fort Frontenac

    The British had 2,200 soldiers and The French had 110 soldiers. Since they were badly out numbered they had to surrender quickly. The battle only lasted two days. The British ended winning that battle resulting them to Seize 800,000 pounds of supplies from the Frenches fort.
  • The battle of Fort Niagara

    As a result of defeat the french were forced to abandon many of there forts. The battle lasted 20 days. For the British, the victory at Fort Niagara meant control of the eastern Great lake.
  • The battle of Montreal

    There were 18,000 British soldier under the command of Jeffrey Amherst. There were 2,100 French soldiers left to defend the city. After three days they were forced to surrender and Montreal was Britain's territory now. That battle marked the end of the war. The war lasted seven years. The war official ended February 10, 1763. The end of the war lead too the signing of the Treaty of Paris. By the end of the war France nearly lost all of its North America's territory.
