Ringo Starr's life
. In 1957, he cofounded his first band, the Eddie Clayton Skiffle Group, which earned several prestigious local bookings before the fad succumbed to American rock and roll by early 1958.
As a child, he used to be ill most of the time he was in a hospital.
When the Beatles formed in 1960, Starr was a member of another Liverpool group, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.
He quit the Hurricanes and joined the Beatles in August 1962. -
John Lennon's life
As a teenager he became involved in the skiffle craze, a type of music and joined his first band "the Quarrymen", that later became the Beatles. He was a huge peace activist and he married Yoko Ono. -

He was born on 18 june in 1942 in Liverpool, England.
His father played the trumpet and the piano.
His father made him take piano lessons and encouraged all his sons to be musical.
In 1954, he met schoolmate George Harrison on the bus to the Institute from his suburban home in Speke. -
George Harrison's life
He had one sister, Louise, and two brothers, Harry and Peter.
While riding his bicycle, he heard Elvis Presley's "Heartbreak Hotel" playing from a nearby house, and the song piqued his interest in rock and roll.He often sat at the back of the class drawing guitars in his schoolbooks.In March 1958 Harrison auditioned for the Quarrymen but Lennon felt that Harrison, then 14, was too young to join the band. The beginning of the band
When he was 16, John Lennon created the group "The Quarrymen" with some schoolmathes in 1957. This year he met Paul McCartney. Paul invited his friend George Harrison, who joined the group. They hired Pete Best to play the battery, but he became ill and Ringo Starr joined the band in the same place as Best. -

How did they get famous? First Tours
After the succes of " love me do" and "Please Please me"they got really famous. They recorded the album "Please Please me " in just one day. This album stayed in the top of the list for 30 weeks. Their first tour was the "European Tour", that started in France. -
Beatlemaniacs
The beatles were known because of their concerts at "The Cavern" in Liverpool. Their popularity reached a level where even the media called their fans "beatlemaniacs"
There are some famous people nowdays like Ozzy Osbourne or the group Nirvana who say that they are fans of this four and do "covers" of their most famous songs. -
"More popular than Jesus"
This was a controversial remark made by John Lennon.
He said christianity was in decline and that the Beatles had become more popular than Jesus Christ.
Christian communities had angry reactions for this when it was republished in the United States five months later. This controversy coincided with the group's US tour in 1966 and contributed to the Beatles' lack of interest in public live performances. -
Events leading up to final tour
One of their last concerts in a foreign country was in India. This trip is very remarkable in their career because everything was going to change from this point.
Their last tour was a U.S one.They were on concert all around North America( Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, NY...) But their REAL last cocert was the Apple Corps in London in 1969. -
The reasons of the break-up
The band started to have several problems with business. , Also,their manager,Brian Epstein unfortunately died . There was an economic difference that made them become angry with each other, Apart from that, they didn´t like that Lennon went to the studio with her wife, Yoko Ono.
Because of that, Paul started to go to the studio under his wife´s company as well.
There were a lot of discussions between them and they were a bit tired of their lifestyles, so they decided to move alone. -
And what happened after "the goodbye"?
-John Lennon was murdered in 1980 by a mad fan
-Paul McCartney is actually alive and still singing. His last album is " NEW".
-George Harrison was attacked in his house by a man with a kitchen knife, but he was ill of cancer so he died on 29 November 2001.
-Ringo Starr stays active in the music industry and he had a great succes in solitary.
