Bruno comes home from school to find out that he and his family is leaving to a new house -

Bruno and his family moved to auschwitz because his father is a nazi commandant, but Bruno doesn't know about the holoecaust -
Bruno complains to his dad
Bruno doesn't like his new house at auschwitz, so he tells that to his father. His father told him that we will have to get use to it, but Bruno still doesn't like it. -
Bruno complains to the maid
Bruno was laying on his bed when maria came in. Bruno told her what he thinks of the new house. Maria, the maid, told him that he needs to trust his father because he knows what's best for him. -
Bruno hurt himself
Bruno was bored, so he went to find a tire for a swing. When he went outside, his sister Gretel was with Lieutenant Kotler. Bruno ask Kotler if he knew where there was a spare tire anywhere. Kotler ordered Pavil, somebody from auschwitz, to find a tire for Bruno. Bruno set up the swing, and started playing on it. Bruno fell off and cut his knee. Pavil, watching from a window when peeling the vegetables, helped and healed him. when Bruno's mom found out about it, she told pavil that she did it. -
Herr Liszt
Bruno's mom wants the kids to still be learning, so she hired a tutor. Herr Liszt thinks that story books and art are not important. Bruno doesn't like this because his grandmother always let him and his sister do plays on christmas. -
The boy in the striped pajamas
Bruno was bored again, so he went down to the fence, which he isn't allow to do. He walked down the fence until he met a boy in striped pajamas who's name was shmuel. They talked to each other and became friends. -
Mother decides to leave
Bruno and Gretel had lice, so Bruno's mom treats the lice on Gretel, while Bruno got all of his hair cut off. his mom decides that auschwitz isn't a good place to raise children (obviously,). When Bruno went out to meet Shmuel, he said that Bruno looks just like him, only fatter. -
planning a final adventure
Bruno is about to leave in a week. He tells shmuel this and he was sad. then, Bruno got an idea. He told Shmuel that on his last day, he will dress up in striped pajamas and be on the same side of the fence for the first time. both of them were happy -
Bruno is NO MORE
on the final day at auschwitz, Bruno disguises himself as someone on the other side of the fence. when he entered the fence, both him and Shmuel are ordered to march with other people. Then, they marched into a building and it got dark. After that, no one heard or seen Bruno ever again.
