    In 1908, the Model T automobile was creathed by a guy named Henery Ford. It made a huge change in the automobile world because alomost anyone could afford it. It started out being only $850.00 for the Model T. Not only did Henery ford introduce the Model T to the world, he also created the assembly line, where the cars started being processed and put together by workers.

    Dodge introduces the first car body made entirely of steel, fabricated by the Budd Company. This mot only made the car safer but made the car look better.

    In 1929, the car radio was created by Paul Galvin. The car radio did not come with the car, it had to be bought separately. The car radio allowed people to listen to their favourite programmes while cruising along the road.

    In 1939 the first air conditioned car came into the world. It was alot more comfortable to have cold air flow out of the automobile when it was hot outside. This was a giantic change to have AC in cars.

    Indicators became an exclusive feature of the car in 1939. Indicators are electric lights that help drivers alert other people which way they are going and turning. Can you imagine if the indicator was not invented?

    The addition of seat belts was the most important addition to the automobile because of the safety they provided. The seat belt was first invented in Australia in 1956 and did not become available in the United States until 1968. They started out as just belts across the lap but it was better than not having one at all.

    The air bag was introduced to America in 1971 by Ford Motor Company. The first American car that had air bags was the Oldsmobile Tornado. Air bags were built into steering wheels, doors, roofs, and dashboards of cars that were meant to protect people from getting hurt in accidents.

    All these renovations to the automobile has created millions of different styles of cars today. Without the inventions of others we would have never discoverd an automobile. Cars today are filled with luxary and safety. We have come an extremly long way from when the first automobie was created.
