David has dreams about a society that has futuristic technology and flying crafts. -
Meeting a Mutant
David is playing down at the river. He hears something in the bushes and a little girl steps out. they started talking and then playing. Sophie the little girl got her foot caught between two rocks. David helped get her shoe off and then noticed that she had six toes. -
A Bad Wish
David got a splinter and went to get a rag to stop the bleeding. He was struggling with tying the rag so his mother helped him. He apologized from taking his mom away from cooking supper. Then he said that he could have managed to tie the rag if he had a third hand. Davids father then lectured him about calling upon the devil because of dissatisfaction of the true image. His father then wiped him. -
"Spider" Man
When the guards brought the prisoners through Waknuk David didn't see any deviations. when the one man stood up David noticed is deviation. The man had very long legs and arms and they were skinny. the man stood at least eighteen inches taller then any other man. -
Mind Powers
Uncle Axel comes across David talking behind a rock. he asks David why he was talking to himself. David tells Uncle Axel that he was taking to Rosalind -
Unusual Horses
Angus imported horses of an unusual size. They called the horses, great horses. Davids father Joseph did not agree with size and saw them as a deviation for how big they were. Even though Joseph saw the horses as a deviation the government in Rigo passed the horses. -
Sophie's Capturing
During the summer David and Sophie would go to river and fish for shrimp. the one day however a boy came walking by and called to David. It was Alan Ervin son of a blacksmith. Alan noticed the footprint with six toes. -
The New Child
Davids mother Emily was having a baby. After the baby was born Davids father called upon the inspector to check the baby to see if was in the true image. The inspector replied by saying he will try to find the time in the day and that made Joseph angry. The inspector finally arrived at about mid afternoon to inspect the baby. The inspector took a long time with the baby but finished inspecting and signed and dated a certificate. The little girl was named Petra. -
A Terrible Tragedy
Aunt Harriet went to Davids house. She went to their house to ask if she could use Petra as her baby just to be inspected. Emily said that she could not use Petra as her own baby to get a normal c certificate. then Aunt Harriet and Emily started to argue, then Joseph walked in and told her that doing that is a crime and to leave. Aunt Harriet got up set and left. The next day Aunt Harriet was found in the river dead. -
New Member to Telepathy Group
The one day when David was helping out logging there was something that suddenly stunned him and started to pull him. David started to run across the field towards the river and tot the thing that was pulling him like a fish hook. When he got there he met Rosalind and they saw Petra in the river holding onto a branch. That's when they noticed that Petra wasn't making a sound and was telepathic. -
Anne's Love
Anne told the group that she had fallen in love with Alan Ervin and planned to marry him. The group did not agree with it because they didn't want anyone to find out about them and Anne would end up telling Alan. Anne shut the whole group out because she did not agree with them. Uncle Axel told David that they should kill Alan. -
Alan's Death
Anne found Alan dead on the walk way to their house with an arrow in his neck. She thought it was someone from the group that killed him. It wasn't anyone in the group that killed Alan. Anne was so upset she ended up taking her own life. The day after Anne took her life Rachael Anne's sister, went to see her. When she got there she found that Anne was dead and that she left a note. The note said everyone that was in the telepathic group including her own name. -
Petra's Scare
Petra did two things that were forbidden. She rode her pony off their land and went exploring in the woods. Petra called out again in the same way she did before when she was in the river. it was sudden and stunning. He tried to make contact with the others to tell them to not come but couldn't. David quickly ran from the forge he was working at and grabbed the gun and went and saddled a horse. When David got he saw Petra's pony being eaten by a beast and noticed Petra up in a tree. -
Jerome Skinner
After Rosalind settled Petra all of the group members started to show up. When they arrived David would tell them to go back. When Sally an Katherine got there a man showed up. His name was Jerome Skinner. He questioned them why they were there, because there wasn't any noise. Jerome Skinner was very suspicious about the girls being there with David and Rosalind. -
Running Away
David was packing for when him and Petra had to leave. he packed some food and blankets and he fell asleep. David was awoken by the latch opening on the door. It was Rosalind coming to get him and Petra so that they could run away from Waknuk. Petra and David collected their things and rode to the wind mill with a horse. They met Rosalind there. Rosalind had both of the great horses saddled. They mounted on the great horses and headed for the Fringes. -
Meeting Fringes People
Suddenly something dropped onto Davids head. When he woke they were riding in the panniers on the great horses of Fringes people. Rosalind explained to Micheal that four or five of them jumped them and one landed on Davids head. -
Meeting the "Spider" Man
The "spider" mans name is Gordan and is Davids uncle. Gordan is Josephs older brother. He was revoked his certificate when he was about three or four. -
Running into Sophie
David got thrown out of Gordans tent and then runs into someone fimiliar. When he realized that it was Sophie David was very happy. They waited until it was dark and then she took David to where she lives. They had to go up a big ladder to a cave. Then she explained how she got to live here and what has happened to her. -
The Big Battle
The Fringes people fought against the people from Waknuk that were searching for David, Rosalind and Petra. The people of Waknuk were winning the battle. Then the people from Sealand came that were coming to save David and the group. They had a flying craft that let strings out that were sticky and tightened. After the Sealand people landed the lady went with a spray can that dissolved the strings and sprayed it on Micheal, David, Rosalind and Petra. -
Going to Sealand
David, Rosalind and Petra went into the flying craft. Micheal stayed behind to go get Rachael. They took off and headed to Sealand. When they arrived they described the noise of everyone talking as the buzzing of a bunch of bees.
