    The Yalta Conference was basically the starting point of the Cold war. It was a Meeting between Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin to decide what would happen at the end of the war. It is Political because it was a meeting between Political leaders to discuss politics.

    This event marks the end of WW2. V Day stands for victory day, it was a great victory due to Germany's surrender to Russia. It is Social because it was a great victory not only for the country but its people, it was greatly celebrated by people in all social classes.

    The day when the USA dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed. This is Cultural because it affected the future culture of Japan massively.

    The second atomic bomb dropped on Japan by the USA in Nagasaki, Japan. The casualty wasn't as severe as Hiroshima. This was cultural because it affected the culture of Japan even more, since it was the second bomb.

    This was a doctrine that was put in place by President Truman. It stated that he would help any countries facing communist takeover, in order to prevent the spread of Communism. This is political because it deals with political ideals such as communism and capitalism, and political leaders.

    A US spy plane saw Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba. Kennedy demanded they are removed. War was prevented on Oct 28th when USA took missiles out of Turkey in order to have the Russians take their missiles out from Cuba. This is geographical because it deals with the USA having missiles in turkey and Russia having missiles in Cuba and the countries arguing and interacting between each other.

    This marks the sad day that America lost their president John F. Kennedy in a tragic and selfish assassination. He was in a car on his visit to Dallas. This is Cultural because it was the death of an amazing president, the people were lost and the country was lost too, it changed the culture of USA forever.

    This marks the landing of the Apollo 11. Inside the Apollo 11 was Niel Armstrong, the first man to step foot on the moon. This social because i was such a big deal in the US civilians eyes, it boosted their nationalism and they celebrated largely.

    The USA basketball team was the strongest by far the previous years. The world was in shock when the USSR beat the USA in the gold medal game 51-50. This is Social because it was a great victory for Russia, they celebrated and it boosted their nationalism, since they had beaten the #1 basketball team in the world.

This is economic because it deals wit how bad the economy was in the 1980's for the Soviet Union, they were struggling with money very badly.
