  • The First Programmable Computer

    Charles Babbage was an English mathematician, philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer who originated the concept of a programmable computer. It is capable of computing several sets of numbers and making a hard copies of the results.

  • The First Electronic Computer

The electronic switches would be more reliable, since they would have no moving parts that would wear out.
