NovaThePerson Founded/House in the mountains
The NovaThePerson YouTube channel, then known as Novakobx22, is created. It was originally created as a private storage of family videos, but it was given to me after they abandoned that idea. Also on this date, the first video, "House in the mountains", is uploaded. BFDI "Best Of's" Begins
"Vomit Montage -Best Of Rocky-", is uploaded. Inspired by the Best Of videos from AnimationEpic, it is the very first object-show-related video on the channel, marking the beginning of the channel's still-ongoing Object Show Era. It's also the first episode of the Object Show "Best Of's" series (although it was named simply as BFDI "Best Of's" then), and one of the first videos on the channel to reach over 100,000 views. First Mascot Created
It's estimated that sometime in November 2014 was when the channel's first mascot, known simply as Nova, was created. Taco from both BFDI and I.I. were also featured, given they were my favorite Object Show characters then. -
First DeviantArt Account Created
The channel's first DeviantArt account is created, named BowAndHerChair. Although now deleted, this is thought to be the origins of the channel's first original Object Character, DVD. -
Object Show Trivia Begins

Kirby Month Begins
The short-lived "Kirby Month" series begins, meant to be a series of Kirby-related videos throughout the month of February 2015. The first video is a no-copy-abilities speedrun of Spring Breeze from Kirby Super Star, which would later be redone during the Year of Nova in September 2021. Video -

The Object Crossover Camp begins with a sign-up period. As the name implies, the camp featured a wide variety of characters from different Object Shows, with DVD making his first appearance as host. Although it was created as an one-off thing from boredom, it has been referenced in numerous videos/series on the channel, such as The Nova Files. Year of Nova 2016 Begins
The 2016 version of the Year of Nova begins, intended as a year-long celebration of the channel's 5th anniversary. The idea was relatively short-lived, only featuring a remake of BFDI: All Eliminations and the start of the Old Level Wasteyard. -
The Object Crossover Camp 2 Begins
The Object Crossover Camp 2 begins with its sign-up period. A reboot of TOCC, it played very similarly to the first version, with one noticeable difference being it had 30 contestants instead of 19. It lasted even shorter than TOCC 1, with only 1 and a half episodes. -

The channel receives its first copyright strike from Viacom, particularly due to a video uploaded in 2013 containing the "Sandy's Vacation in Ruins" short from SpongeBob SquarePants. Although it was viewed as greedy back then, it can be seen as somewhat-sensible, considering it was literally a rip from a SpongeBob DVD and nothing else. Video -

Battle of the Sweets begins with its sign-up period. The camp featured 20 contestants themed around sweet food/drinks, with the prize being the winner's very own cafe. Although it only lasted 1 episode, it would unintentionally serve as the predecessor of Battle for a Bakery. -
Inanimate Insanity: All Eliminations
"Inanimate Insanity - All Eliminations" is uploaded. Featuring all eliminations from Episode 2 of Season 1 to Episode 9 of Season 2, it was intended as a sort-of sequel to BFDI: All Eliminations. -

The Object Crossover Camp Yet Again Begins
The Object Crossover Camp Yet Again begins with its sign-up period. The third version of TOCC, the camp had contestants directly interacting with each other for the first time, inspired by BucketStudio22's Object Crossovers. It also introduced a shop system, where contestants could buy items for challenges/eliminations and decorations for confessional rooms. Second Mascot Created
Sometime around August 2017 was when the channel's second Mascot was created, known as A Newbie's Guide to HTwins Central, though he was later remade into A Newbie's Guide to Object Shows, or simply Object Show Guide. Object Show Guide acted as my booksona for Ten Words of Wisdom, even though I was eliminated far before the booksona was created. -

BAGUETTE TWO begins its sign-up period. A fan-made reboot of carykh's BAGUETTE, this version introduced teams, BFDI-themed items, themed confessional rooms, and more. It lasted much longer than previous Nova camps, lasting all the way up to Episode 4. Video -
BFB Corrupted Begins
BFB Corrupted begins with its first episode, "BFB 3 Corrupted: Why The Hell Would You Do This on a Swingset or Anywhere". The series revolved around taking the source files of BFB episodes and messing them up into a chaotic mess. The series got 3 episodes on the main channel before the series was moved to its own channel, which has since been deleted. Video -
NovaThePerson Name Adapted/Third Mascot Designated
After over 6 years of use, the Novakobx22 name is retired in favor of the channel's current name, NovaThePerson. Also on this day, DVD finally gets his turn as the mascot of the channel, sporting his new look as seen in BFB 2. -
Battle for a Bakery Begins
Battle for a Bakery begins its sign-up period. The first Nova Camp hosted exclusively on Discord, the new server featured a camp with various bakery-goods-themed contestants battling it out for the prize of a bakery. The camp introduced a story element, where mini, object-show-like "episodes" would play before each challenge and during eliminations. This camp was the first out of two Nova Camps to be completed entirely, with a contestant known as Blueberry Pie taking the win. -
Battle For Object Smackdown "Begins"
The first episode of the April Fool's "series" Battle for Object Smackdown, a poorly-made parody of Object Shows, is uploaded. The "series" involved Root Beer, Cotton Candy, and Orange Colored Pencil in a totally normal competition hosted by IPhone X. Although the first episode only lasted a mere 38 seconds, it would be followed up with a 7 minute second episode in 2021. Video -
BFAB Discord Transitions to Nova's Bakery
Sometime in May 2018, the BFAB Discord server transitioned to its then-new name, Nova's Bakery. Although it still hosted BFAB, the new theme transitioned the server from a camp-only server to a general community server. -
Fourth Mascot Designated
Sometime around June 2018, Twinkie, the host of Battle for a Bakery, was designated as the 4th mascot of the YouTube channel. Also known as Sponge Cake in instances where copyright needs to be avoided, she became the channel's first female mascot. -
BFAB: Back for Seconds Begins
Back for Seconds, the sequel to Battle to a Bakery, begins its sign-up period. The camp acted as a hybrid camp, with story episodes being uploaded to YouTube and challenges/eliminations taking place in Discord. It lasted up to 5 episodes before being cancelled in July. First Episode -
The Fierce Feast Begins
The Fierce Feast begins its sign-up period. It acted as a sort-of spiritual successor to BFAB, featuring very similar mechanics to the previous camp. It was also the first and only Nova Camp without a logo. There was a focus on special episodes throughout the camp, including a Halloween special, a Christmas special, and even a Voice Acting special. The camp concluded with the finale, "Gone", detailed a bit further ahead on this timeline. -
Fifth Mascot Created
Nebula is created as the fifth Mascot of the channel. The fifth booksona created for the channel, she was created as part of the channel's then-new Space theme, which itself was created as a little nod to name of "Nova", which coincidentally is a type of star. -
The Fierce Feast Ends
After a competition spanning 6 months, TFF concludes with it's 3-part finale, Gone. The finale story revolved around the death of the Sun and the chaotic aftermath that followed, including the death of Twinkie due to a contestant sabotage, although looking back it was written a bit edgy. The camp also concluded with a 3-part finale challenge that saw a contestant named Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie taking the win, marking the end of the second Nova Camp to be fully completed. -
H.E.A.L.T.H. Begins
Healthy Encounter Against Lots-of Troublesome Heads begins its sign-up period. This camp was the first Nova Camp to allow any OCs, regardless of their theme. The camp itself followed a hospital theme, introducing a health system with 4 Health Points, which could be gained or lost depending on their performance in challenges. If they lost all their HP, they would be eliminated automatically. The camp was later cancelled after about 6 challenges. -
BFB 4 Reanimated
"BFB 4 Reanimated - Today's Very Special MAP" is uploaded. A complete reanimation of the 4th episode of BFB, it is the biggest project in NovaThePerson history, consisting of 46 different animators, all with a wide variety of skill levels. The project took exactly 4 months to complete, starting on January 25th, 2019. Video -
Food Court Throwdown Begins
Food Court Throwdown begins its sign-up period. In this camp, contestants took control of their own restaurant in a mall food court, with the goal being to make their customers happy. They could compete in challenges to earn money to buy upgrades (more workers, better equipment, etc.). The better the restaurant performed each day, the more money they could get. At the end of each day, the contestant with the least money was eliminated. The camp was cancelled mainly due to its confusing nature. -
10,000 Subscribers Reached
Over 3 years after reaching 1,000 subscribers, the channel reaches 10,000 subscribers. The occasion is celebrated with a video consisting of the best videos from the channel throughout the years, leading up to that point. Video -
Retro Race: Replay Begins
Retro Race: Replay begins its sign-up period. A reboot of a friend's former camp, RR:R was a video-game-themed Object Camp, with practically all elements based off of popular video games. The camp introduced Item Cards, which mainly gave contestants an advantage during eliminations. It also introduced Areas, which were specified settings for the story to take place in, in which they were also based off of certain games. The camp was later cancelled after 3 episodes. -
Nova's Bakery Transitions to Supernova Boardwalk
The Nova's Bakery Discord server rebrands as Supernova Boardwalk, a theme change from a bakery theme to a boardwalk theme. -
Brawl for House Pancake Begins
Brawl for House Pancake begins it's sign-up period. BFHP was themed around breakfast, where 24 contestants competed on Mt. Pann for the prize of a log cabin. However, it was the first Nova Camp to come with a real prize, that being a $50 gift card to whatever restaurant the winner chooses. The camp also placed less focus on story, opting for short, text-based story portions rather than full picture slides. -
Brawl for House Pancake Cancelled/End of Nova Camps
Brawl for House Pancake is cancelled due to many contestants self-disqualifying and also from a lack of motivation. Due to this pattern of cancellations, it is decided for the best that BFHP would be the final Nova Camp, officially ending the Object Camp Era. -
Root Beer Delivery
"[April Fools 2020] Root Beer Delivery [GMod Machinima]" is uploaded. A poorly-made parody of GMod Machinimas, a Villager takes a deal with a strange Root Beer seller and goes on a delivery spree across a wide variety of different locations. Sixth Mascot Designated
Stella is designated as the sixth Mascot of the channel. The first human mascot in nearly 6 years, she was created as a part of plans to shift away from object-show focused videos to more variety focused videos, though those plans have been somewhat abandoned. Her design takes inspiration from various characters, including Gloria from Pokemon Sword/Shield and Nikki from Swapnote. -
OST Month
OST Month is begun to make up for a 2 year hiatus from the Object Show Trivia series. Throughout the month of September 2020, 1 new OST episode was released every Saturday, including the long-awaited remake to All Deaths in Inanimate Insanity. Video -
Year of Nova 2021 Begins
The Year of Nova 2021 officially begins. A successor to the YON 2016, this version celebrated the 10th anniversary of the channel, with lots more content planned to celebrate, including a revival of the Old Level Wasteyard, old video remakes, showcases of lost videos, and this very timeline. The Nova Files Begins
The Nova Files begins with its first episode, "The Nova Files 1 - The Camp Collection". A part of the Year of Nova, the series uncovered videos that were either deleted from the channel or were meant to be uploaded to it and just never were.
