    In 1815 Jackson led his soldiers to defeat the British and only suffering 76 casualties
  • Jacksonian Democracy

    In 1824-28 Andrew Jackson started "Jacksonian Democracy" in where the democracy was also pointed to the common man, allowing more votes pointed toward him
  • Election of 1824

    In 1824 John Quincy Adams won the election by the "Corrupt Bargain" causing Jackson destroy everything Quincy did.
  • Election of 1828

    In 1828 Andrew Jackson won the presidential election, allowing him to place any congress person he wanted thanks to his system, The Spoils System.
  • Spoils system

    In 1828, Jackson won and created the spoils system, where the winner could place whoever he wanted in congress.
  • Indian removal act

    In 1830 Andrew Jackson forced the natives to move west of the missisipi in exchange for their ancestral homelands
  • Nullification Crisis

    In 1832 a tax proposed by the federal government posed a threat to the union, when south carolina threatened to secede and Jackson sent troops to prove them wrong
  • Worcester v. Georgia

    In 1832 Samuel Worcester, a missionary for the cherokee, was put on trial for defending the tribe when georgia tried to give them the boot.
  • War on Bank

    In 1833 Andrew Declared a war against the national bank saying it was to powerful and hurting the common man.
  • Trail of Tears

    Between 1838-39 100000 Native Americans were moved from around Georgia to Oklahoma on reserved territory.
