The tension is on and Amir finally beats the last kite flying as Hassan starts running for the falling kite. After Hassan takes awhile Amir goes searching for him, witnessing Hassan get raped by Assef like coward. -
torture
Amir constantly torments Hassan in hopes he'll get mad and give him what he deserves. When they go to the pomegranate tree he beats Hassan with multiple pomegranates with no such luck. As a last poor helpless attempt he plants money and his watch under Hassans bed to accuse him of stealing thinking Baba will kick him out for commiting what Baba considers the biggest sin. Resulting in Hassan and Ali at their decision. -

Amir and Baba flee Afghanistan to America, land of the free, to start over their lives. They end up going to Fermont, California where most Afghans do go to. -
Cancer
Baba is sadly diagnosed with cancer and as his last dying duty to Amir he successful manages to get Amir to marry Soraya! -
Brothers
Amir finds out after all these years he is biologically related to Hassan. Baba had kept this a secret from everyone to the day he died just for his social status to stay high up in the charts. -
the whole story
Rahim Khan calls Amir to come back to Afghan to redeem himself. He breaks everything down for Amir. He reveals that Hassan had a beautiful family but unfortunately was killed by a taliban for protecting their home loyal as always.
