    We leave for our trip. The men are excited, even though we all know that we will have to fight through mean deadly tasks that could meet to our demise. We will have to fight through diseases, the common sicknesses, and pirates hungry for any treasures we may have on us. But still, we are determined to accomplish this dreadful task.

    It's Christmas eve. Almost 2 years have passed. It's sad that some men couldn't be here today. Men were dying left and right from being overwhelmed of sicknesses. The most common sickness was scurvy. Scurvy was a disease from the deficiency of vitamin C.

    It's the middle of July. The heat is overpowering. The boat is filled with the foul oder of sweat. Men are thriving for cold water. Most men don't even wear their shirts, instead they'll use them like they are towels. We are almost at our first destination, which is West Africa for slaves.

    We've just left our first destination, West Africa. We captured multiple slaves and stocked up on some food. When we first met the West African port the men were excited. Some cried when their feet had finally touched the silky smooth sand of the West African coast. Surely, some men were not too excited to get back to sea.

    We have finally reached China! Many men have died to this trip to China, but overall it was worth it. This country is beautiful, but we are here for 2 reasons. Their silk and spices.
