The rebellion started when the taxes on whiskey went up. Nobody was happy about it. Until 1794, George Washington rode to Western Pennsylvania with 13,000 troops and stopped the rebellion. The Whiskey Rebellion ended on November 11, 1794. -

The Louisiana Purchase was bought by America from France. Thomas Jefferson was president at the time and he purchased the states to improve trade in America. France sold the states for $15 million. (42 cents an acre.) -

With the War of 1812, the Treaty of Ghent settled the conflict. The United States and Great Britain decided to settle their conflicts and they signed the treaty on December 24, 1814. -
The Missouri Compromise
Since there had to be a balance between slave states and free states, the Missouri compromise helped even it out. Missouri became a slave state and Maine became a free state.
