the police team hires a private investigator named holly, who is clamed to be able to feel things that people cant. she ends up finding information on a/an entity, that shapeshifts into people and commits murders. -
they decide to take it down
they find out that its an actual monster and they decide to take it down. -
the book ends
the book ends with them taking down the outsider, and theey clear up the Maitland's name.
