    The Rise of Islam was a political positive in the regions of South Asia, South East Asia, The Middle East, and Africa. During the postclassical period, the spread of Islam provided unity in the regions it impacted and broke the radical and structured caste-system in India. Islam provided innovation in education, which refined art, acience, and literature. However, Islamic divisions left openings for political expansion that the Europeans would quickly take advantage of.

This demonstrates change over time because the Islamic faith is spreading and expanding. Originally most of the citizends of Mecca did not watnt to convert, but then did.
