Childhood
This describes how the Wife and the Husband first met. They met when they were young as evident by the two of them playing in yard packing flowers and the husband playing horse. This was before they had feelings for each other. -
At the age of 14
Once they were 14 they got married. The Wife was shy once they got married. -
At the age of 15
After an year of waiting the Wife finally started to warm up to the husband and start to be less shy. She wanted to be with him forever and ever as evident in line 13 -
At the age of 16
The Husband has to leave due to his job being a river merchant. The Wife now being more open twords the man is super upset that he left. the Wife describes nature its self being sad. -
Still 16
The woman has been waiting 5 months for her love to return. She watches the the yard and how its growing with no one care for it as she see acts of love it makes her feel sad as she says " it hurts her". As she waits she becomes increasingly more desperate to see her loved one. as she says in line 27-30.
