Safety
After their escape from the maze, the Gladers get taken care of by a unknown faction. The gladers have their first encounter with cranks(a group of dieased human making them almost zombie like). Then the Gladers go looking for teresa just to find a little boy name aris. Aris tell the glader that their is another faction that instead of all boys(gladers) he was sent to a all girl group. Thomas also realizes that aris is also telepathic. -
The Stranger
The next morning the gladers wake up to see a guy that's not allowed speak till 8 P.M. When it hits 8:00 P.M. The guy inform them that they have a diease called the flare. Then he told them that the cure will be given once trials are completed. -
The beginning of the end 1st
The Gladers all wake up at 6:00 A.M. and begin the trial. Lead by minho, the boys travel through the maze to find there to be some hidden traps. one of the boys gets his head encased by a metal ball. later on in the maze another trap attempts to end another boys life, but was thwarted by thomas. then the boys escape the maze. -
Teresa 2nd
2 hours walking in the desert the boys find a girl, Thomas realizes its teresa so he chases her just to be left confused by her affectionate and unaffectionate actions. -
LIGHTNING 3rd
After the incident with Teresa it begins to storm while trying to look or shelter minho was struck by lightning. They spotted the closet building then walked into to find a crank named jorge -
The building 4th
The gladers are outnumbered by the amount of people in the building. Jorge questions them and then hits minho. minho tackles Jorge and Thomas quickly grabs minho and makes a deal with jorge basically saying if he goes with jorge the others can get some rest and food. while in custody the tunnel they were travelling through expolded. then suddenly cranks appear and chase them down. They escape. -
Thomas kidnapped
cranks were standing at the end of the valley spouting out that they were good. saying no wouldve meant death so thomas goes toward them. they took him inside a building filled with cranks. Then he was forced to drink some sleeping tea. They took Thomas in for questioning thomas tells them everything. Later while Thomas was left alone minho appeared and rescued him. while leaveing bolndie(the guy who kidnapped thomas were behind them. then bang thomas was shot in his arm. -
WICKED
helicopter comes down and these people take Tomas. The next place that he ends up at what at the home place of WICKED. They were talking about how there shouldn't have been a working gun in the whole place. When things don't go right they have to fix them so that they can keep seeing more variables -
GIRLS!!!!
Then about after a week of healing his shoulder they took Tomas back to where his friends were. After he got back it was almost night time and they started walking again. But then a group of girls come out of no where and they are all armed. Teresa is with them this time. They yell at Tomas and tell him that they need him to go with them. Tomas walks out and they put him in a full body bag. They start dragging him along the mountains. All of the girls want to stop but Teresa doesn't. -
She love me, she loves me not
after waking up two girls tell him that teresa was really the only one that wanted to kill him. Teresa then came to the conclusion not to kill him. Teresa takes thomas to a cave and forces him against a wall. thomas turns around to see his love kissing another dude -
go to sleep
Teresa throws Thomas in a gas chamber where he was passed out for 2 weeks -
The Grand Escape
When he got back out Teresa was standing there almost crying say sorry over and over again. He looks over and sees that there are white pods showing up. Tomas remembers them they were the things that the Grievers(Grievers were a monster that killed the Gladers in the 1st book) came out of. man looking things came out of them. Then they start coming out after them and they Thomas turns around to see a box being lowered and they only had a little time. They make inside the box, escapeingthetrial
