1628: Charles I called upon parliament because he needed more money. Parliament convinced Charles I to sign the Petition of Right that made it so he had to get parliament's consent to raise Taxes. It also made it so he had to have a reason to Jail people. -

Charles I needs Money to defeat the Calvinist rebels and calls upon Parliament. This started the Long Parliament when Parliament went against Charles I. They reversed Charles I actions with the Church and executed his Chief Ministers. -

William III Overthrows James II and becomes king of England. -
The English Bill of right is passed
William III signs the English Bill of Rights whitch limits the power of the monarchy and gives more to parliment.
