    Eris goddess of discord was the only god that did not get an invitation to the weeding so she got upset and threw a golden apple inside which said, "For the Fairest". Aphrodite, Athena, and Hera wanted the apple, but Zeus could not pick between them.

    Paris visits King Menelaus of Sparta

    Paris decides to visit the city of king Menelaus & while there he kidnaps Helen, King Menelaus Wife.

    Menelaus & Agamemnon

    When Menelaus found out about his wife's kidnapping, he told his brother Agamemnon immediately. His brother decides to help so he rounds up men to attack the city of troy's.

    Odysseus & Achilles

    Agamemnon made Odysseus & Achilles, leaders of their army. Also these two men were the strongest & smartest warriors there were.

    The Trojan War Begins

    The Trojan War begins as the Greeks arrive, this battle lasted 10 years.

    The Greeks "Leave"

    The Greeks pretend to leave, but they also leave something for troy outside his walls.

    Greeks leave surprise behind

    The Greeks leave a large wooden horse outside of the walls of Troy, So Troy brings it inside thinking its a gift. But whats inside leaves him stunned.
  • Period: 1000 BCE to 1000 BCE

    Troy is destroyed

    When the wooden horse is inside the city, the hidden doors inside open & Greeks jump out. The Greeks destroy everything, including the city & all men, taking the women. Troy is no longer, so the war ends.

    Judgment of Paris

    Since Zeus could not choose who the apple would go to, he than asked Paris to do it. They all bribed him but Aphrodite offered Zeus the most beautiful women on earth, and neither women could top that. Paris then chooses Aphrodite and in return she tells him about Helen, King Menelaus of Sparta's wife.

    Menelaus finds out

    Menelaus, King of Sparta, finds out of her kidnapping, so he plans to take her back.
