Xavier meets Elijah

Niska is forced to kill a Windigo, Xavier watches in horror. Later Niska tells Xavier of her role as a Windigo killer and that he will be one too someday.

Xavier wants to visit Elijah

With Grey Eyes mistake with the slider, a german sniper was able to put a bullet into Sean's neck. He died within minutes.

After finding out where the German sniper hunted they tried to find him. The sniper found them first but missed, Eliojah was wounded but Xavier was able to kill the sniper.

Division moves to Albert

The division is moved to Albert to help support another front. There stands a vigin mary statue that is seen as a gardian angel for the troops.

Elijah becomes addicted to the morphine

Elijah, after an injury during a raid, becomes addicted to the morphine given to him.

Elijah starts collecting scalps

after talking with the Frenchmen in the bar, Elijah sets out to prove to them he is a killer. THey say to earn their honor he must show the scalps of his kills.

The Divison of Canadians are moved to Vimy. Where, during the cold months, the Canadians were successful in raiding and killing in German trenches.

The Canadians Take Vimy

With Xaviers and Elijah's markmenship keeping Machine guns at bay, the Canadians were able to quickly advance up the hill and take the high ground.

Xavier goes to see lisette

After a long journey to Albert, Xavier learns that Lisette is a prositute. After returning he feels beaten and no longer cares what happens to him. Only Elijah's quick thinking saves him from the firing squad.

Divion moved to Lens

The Divison is moved to Lens in order to secure one of Germany's last strongholds.

Graves is killed by a flamethrower

Aug 17, 1917

after taking the church, Elijah is pinned at the top of the tower. Graves and another soldier are tasked with clearing a basement with mill bombs. On the way over to throw the grenades, a soldier weilding the flamethrower burns Graves to death.

Xavier meets Peggy Ojbwe

Aug 21, 1917

Both Xavier and Elijah meet Peggy at a bar. It is clear Elijah has a rivraly towards Peggy, Who is another great Cree sniper. During a bombing run Elijah thinks of killing Peggy.

McCaan and Thopson are killed

Aug 30, 1917

During a trench raid in Lens, Xavier's squadren is tricked into a kill zone and ripped apart by shelling, McCaan is killed by the German clean up crew and Thompson dies of his injuries later.

Elijah gets to fly

A Pilot offers to take Elijah into the air. Elijah was wanting to go but as soon as they got in the air, Elijah suddenly felt vanurable and scared. He realized he was not invicable which changed Elijah from that point on.

Niska writes a letter to Xavier

niska has become worried for Xavier. She asks her friend Joseph to write him a letter for her. Telling Xavier that he must return because he is the last of thier bloodline. She also mentions Elijah and to do what he must to keep hime safe.

Xavier and Elijah kill an inocent Women and child

while clearing a house, Xavier is startled by a women and accidentally shoots her, a child comes out and cries over her mom and attacks Xavier. Eliojah enters and quickly kills the child. Xavier feels horrible about what happened.

Xavier recieves Niska's letter

Xavier is unable to read english so must go to Fat for help. The writing is barely reable due to Joseph's bad writing ability. The letter is misread and says that Niska is dead and that Xavier should kill Elijah. This sends Xavier into deeper sorrow and questions if he should kill Elijah.

Elijah wants Xavier to divine for him

Elijah, looking to kill more Germans, asks Xavier to divine for him. When Elijah pulls out a human shoulder blade Xavier sees how crazy his friend has gotten. Xavier refuses to Divine.

Xavier Tries to kill Eiljah

After Elijah butched the German for his Shoulder blade, Xavier feels he must kill Elijah, Xavier enters Elijahs sleeping area and tries to inject lethal amounts of morphine into his body. Elijah catches him and stops him.

Elijah kills an Allied soldier

After visiting a hospital for morphine, Elijah is drawn to a suffering soldier. Elijah puts him out of misery by giving him a lethal dose of it. This is the first time Eligh killed for nothing but pleasure.

Elijah kills Grey Eyes and Breech

Apr 18, 1918

After Grey Eyes blew the whistle on Elijah and his addiction. Elijah is put on charges but holds Grey Eyes and Breech at gun point. A motor hits thier building giving Elijah the oppertunity to kill them both.

Xavier catches Elijah going windigo

After Elijahkills a German trying to ambush him, Xavier walks to him and catches him eating pieces of the dead man. Elijah claims he only did what he had to survive. Xavier doesn't belive him and says he crossed the line.

Xavier kills Elijah

During an Offencive, Elijah and Xavier get pinned down by motars. Elijah tells Xavier only one will makw it back. The two men fight for a few moments and Xavier is able to kill Elijah.

Xavier loses his leg

In shock after killing his best friend, Xavier walks into the shelling area and is hit by a wizbang. During surging Xavier loses his leg and is sent home.

Xavier begens the three day journey home

After Xavier finds Niska alive, they begin their way back home. Though Xavier has lost the will to live and is addicted to morphine.

Conclusion

Xavier is able to find forgivness for his actions and able to recover from his addiction. Niska has a new vision showing her that the future will be one of peacfulness.
