  • Sugar Act

    passed in 1764, Was a tariff on sugar and Molasses entering the colonies.
  • Currency Act

    protected British merchants and creditors from being paid in depreciated colonial currency. It also regulated paper money.
  • Stamp Act

    the tax was imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used which included Ship's papers, legal documents, licenses, newspapers, other publications, and even playing cards were taxed.

    It Authorized British Commanders to soldiers in vacant private homes, and other buildings.

    A act placed on American colonies by placing import taxes on many of the British products bought by Americans, including lead, paper, paint, glass and tea.
