    When this paper was signed, it pronounced all Americans are free. They have rights to do what they want and to do as they wish. It (to this day) Is still a free world.

    This was a big purchase to United States from France. This gave us more land for a cheaper price. It was only 3 cents an acre. This also caused fear for people having to move because of it. They didn't know what to expect. It was one of the biggest impacts ever. After this we started battling and we got all of Texas and so on.

    The Lewis and Clark journey
    Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set out to do the impossible. Explore without any new tech, the new land. They needed to see if it was dangerous or not. The did it with a tribe and their slaves. They found danger, but also good things. New animals, good and bad, new plants, even new mountains and land. Only one person died on that journey. Lewis committed suicide a few years later due to depression. Clark named his son after Lewis.

    This war was all about government. These people keep fighting for more rights and laws. Some of them do not like the laws. It was government vs. the people.

    California Gold Rush
    A man found gold in California one day. The news broke out and everyone from everywhere started coming to CA and hunting for gold. People would put it down this wood chain belt sort of thing and if you found the gold, you could keep it. After around 5-10 years, it started dying out. They took all of the gold.

    The civil war started out because of the confederate army bombarding union soldiers in South Carolina. The war lasted 4 years and was finally stopped by Abraham Lincoln. After that, there was no more slaves aloud.

    Basketball is one of the most popular sports ever now. People get paid 100 of millions of dollars. It depends what kind of contract you have. It has gone from a peach bucket on a pole in a gym to a glass backboard with a metal rim and a net in an arena

    9/11 is the day that everyone remembers, even if you weren't born. You can see tragic videos about it everywhere and as the date comes up, you will see it being honored on the news. It was one of the worst days in the world, it killed over 5000 people including police men and fire men.

    I was born on March 16th, 2004. I weighed 4 and a half pounds when i was born. It was also a heavy snow day. I was the second child and i'm now the middle.

    Oklahoma city thunder are founded
    The OKC thunder were founded in 2008 and it took the place of the team Seattle Supersonics. They have one NBA championship in 1979 as the Supersonics.
