Asante Empire
The Asante Empire was an active slave trade in the 18th century though they were unsuccessful and resisted Britian in the 19th century. In the beginning of the 1800's they were successful when trading slaves with the Dutch and British in exchange for firearms. On January 1st 1902, Asante was declared a Brithsh crown colony. -
