    Eris, the Goddess of Discord, was the only god uninvited. She threw a golden apple into the wedding that said "For the Fairest." Aphrodite, Ahtena, and Hera all wanted the apple, but Zues would not choose between them.

    King Menelaus entertained Paris for nine days. Menelaus left for hid grandfather's funeral and Paris abducted Menelaus' wife Helen along with many treasures.
