    The M4 Sherman had enter service with the British and American armed forces since it was the best tank the allies had at the time. The Sherman had a 75mm gun and 60mm of armor and the Sherman had fought on all fronts in the war. British and Russians had gotten their M4 Sherman's thorough the Lend-Lease Program. Approximately 50,000 Sherman's were built and the last combat that the Sherman's were involved was the Lebanese Civil War in 1990.
