    Magna Carta
    The Magna Carta was sighned on June 15th by king John. the pourpose of the Magna Cartawas to curb the king and make him govern by the old english laws that prevailed before the normans came. The Magna Carta was sighned in a medow at at runnymede in Egham, survey, South England.
  • Jamestown

    Jamestown
    Jamestown was founded in Virginia May 14 1607. Jamestown was known for the tabacco plant. Tabacco became Virginia’s first profitable export. Jamestown remained capital of the Virginia colony until 1699.
  • French and Indian War

    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian Was started on May 28, 1754 and ended Feburary 10, 1763. France’s expansion into the Ohio River valley brought repeated conflict with the claims of the British colonies, a series of battles led to the official British declaration of war in 1756.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was the killing of five colonists by British regulars on March 5, 1770. The riot began when about 50 citizens attacked a British sentinel. Captain Thomas Preston, called in additional soldiers, and these too were attacked, so the soldiers fired into the mob, killing 3 on the spot (a black sailor named Crispus Attucks, ropemaker Samuel Gray, and a mariner named James Caldwell), and wounding 8 others, two of whom died later (Samuel Maverick and Patrick Carr).

    On the night of December 16, 1773, Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty boarded three ships in the Boston harbor and threw 342 chests of tea overboard. The Tea Act (May 10, 1773) adjusted import duties in such a way that the company could undersell even smugglers in the colonies.

    Trail of Tears
    The trail of Tears occurred some time in the 1830's. The trail of tears was caused by the Indian removal. The Indian removal act was signed and approved by Andrew Jackson.
