  • Brown vs. The Board of Education

    "Brown v.   • Title VI

  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

  • EAHCA

    "EAHCA was also known as P.L. 94-142. Today we know this law as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)".   • EAHCA - Handicapped Children's Protection Act

  • IDEA

    The EAHCA is amended and is now called the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This amendment added many changes. One of the biggest changes being that school districts were now required to assist students with disabilities in transitioning from high school to postsecondary life.
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
