    The significance of this event is that The Hundred Years' War was a time of rapid military evolution. Weapons, tactics, army structure and the social meaning of war all changed, partly in response to the war's costs, partly through advancement in technology and partly through lessons that warfare taught.
    Soldiers who previously rode heavly armoured horses wore no amour and instead of staying on horseback got off and engaged the ememy.

    This event is significant because it was the motivator for the European age of exploration which led the eventual global domination of European nations. With the west end of the silk road controlled by muslims, the christians sought to find new trade routes in order to cirvumvent muslim controlled trade routes in the middle east.

Under Askia Muhammad Toure, however, men could achieve high office based upon their scholarship and intellect regardless of their social position.

    This is significant because it is the origin of the slave trade that rappidly boomed across the world. But another important thing to say is that as the African kings became wealthy they wanted more wealth so they wanted to conquer other Africans but could not. The European then gave them guns and they would try to conquer other African states but the Portugese gave guns to other Kings so that led to internal conflict and led to Africa having a massive fragmentation.

    This event is significant because Ferdinand and Isabella kicked out the muslims and jews which were the middle class leaving them with no one to tax. Thus they sent comlumbus on a voyage to find new trade routes and on his journey accidently discovered the americas and spain colonized them which led to Spain becoming a trade and world dominant power.

Europeans profited from this trade giving rise to a middle class and the bourgeoisie which would ironically argue for the rights of all men during the Enlightenment.

    Akbar created his own syncretic religion the divine faith that drew on Islamic, Hindu and Zoroastrian beliefs. This religion pointed to the emperor as the leader of all faiths in the empire. Subsequent Mughal leaders fell under the sway of these conservatives and Akbar’s policy of toleration was abandoned. Hindu temples were destroyed. Religious tension reemerged as a big problem of the Empire. THis led to internal conflict which was a factor in the decline in the empire.

    The significance of the deat of the Spanish Armada is really the aftermath of the event. Following the deafeat of the Spanish, England continued in afvancing in naval warfare and n the words of Geoffrey Parker, by 1588 'the capital ships of the Elizabethan navy constituted the most powerful battlefleet afloat anywhere in the world.' towards English domination of the New World and trade as without their fleet, the Spanish would find it harder to keep their foothold.

He promoted foreign trade but in 1633 cut off trade with all other nations except for the Netherlands. This led to Japan's isolation from the world and were behind all the nations as they were westernizing.

    whereas devshirme provided the footsoldiers for the army of the Ottoman Empire, its lost left a huge military gap to be filled which sadly wasnt going to be filled by the Janissaries who had already started their transition to a merchant class, this added to the decline of the Ottoman Empire

He utalizes guns and bacially follows the western nations.Je expanded eastward as he advanced his country. He makes Russia not so backwards as they will also play a part in the global trade network.

    This event is significant because it cause people to think in news perspectives and new ways, but also brought about now styles of art. This is when you see 3 dimensional art beigns to appear and spread throughout the world.

    The Enlightenment allowed people to look at situations, both scientific and philosophical, in a more rational way. The Enlightenment helped to set up theories and laws that were proven to be true. These theories and laws became known to all people and became the basis for thinking.

    The invention of machinery drastically changed the methods of production. First, there was a change from the slower and more expensive production by hand to the quicker and less costly production by machine. machines made possible the growth of democracy, the strengthening of nationalism, the increase of world population, the growth of cities, the development of new recreational facilities, and the increase in volume and variety of goods.
