  • Proclamation of 1763

    This Proclimation did not allow colonist to settle west of the Applican mountains. The British government feared the conflict between colonist and native americans would lead to another war . They also could not afford to pay British troops to deffend the western lands . Colonist were enraged by this proclimation because they felt they had won the right to settle on the ohio river valley after winning the french and indian war

  • Quareting Act

    The Quareting act forced colonist to take in british soliders in their house until they are needed for war or other duties. The people would have to feed them .The people would get what they need and they would clean up after the soliders.
  • Townshed Act

    Parliment made N.Y assembly stop until they agreed to provide supplies and housing to British soliders. Ths took some rights . Also made some people riot against this .
  • Tea Act and Boston Tea Party

    A group of men dressed as native indians went aboard a british ship full of tea and dumped the tea over board to show thay dont care about the tea act. The tea act is when the british placed tax on the tea.
  • Intolerable act

    Britian gets angry at the colonist due to the boston tea party , because they did this the boston harbor was closed for ships leaving and in comeing. Than they were forced to pay for the destoryed tea.
  • Battle of lexington and concord

    700 british soliders were met at lexington by 70 milita men and many were killed than the british took fire . After the british took fire many were killed from the milita men . Than more backup started to come for for britian by german soliders.
  • The Olive Branch Petition

    The Olive Branch Ptetion was a meaningful symbol of peace. The ptetion asked King George to bring harmony between britian and the colonies. After a while the king said no to this sign of peace.

    The comitte was made up of important men. These people wanted free and independet states. The thing was declined after a while than a group said yes..
