    The French and Indian war was a fight in the colonies between Great Britian and France in North America.
  • The Proclomation

    The Proclomation
    The proclamation was issued in 1763 to end the war. It was to stabilize the trust and trade between the colonies and Great Britian.

    The sugar act was when Britian taxed the colonies for any sugar bought and shipped over seas. The big thing was this was the first time they tried to tax the colonies.

    The Townshend act was a set of laws given for the colonists to follow to stay in order in the colonies.

    The Boston Massacre was based on a soldier killing five colonists. The guard fired shots injuring two people and killing three and later on those two injured people died.

    The tea act was when Britian put tax on tea shipped over the seas and the colonists did not respond very happily. The reason for this was they bought over 1 million pounds of tea a year.

    The Boston tea party was a time when the colonist were just taxed for tea, so men dressed up as British soldiers went and dumped over 10,000 pounds of tea in the ocean.

    The battle of Lexington/Concord was the first battle of the Revolutionary war. The battle consisted of the kings men from Great Britian and the thirteen colonies.

    The battle of Bunker Hill was fought in the begenning of the war also, in was a conflict over land. The kings men tried to sneak around but the colonists men found out and sent 1,200 men to take them out.

    The Battle of Saratoga was one of the greatest wars in america, it was when the kings men came over with higher trained forces than George Washingtons men and the kings men took them out.

    The battle of Yorktown was one of the last battles fought in the Revolutionairy war and it was called the fight for freedom.

    The Treaty of Paris was a signed paper by the colonists and Britian, and the allies. This document ended the Revolutionairy war.
