    Gave Johnson broad war making powers after DRV torpedos attacked U.S. ships and America retailiated with bombings in military bases in North Vietnam
  • Operation Rolling Thunder

    Continuos U.S. bombing raids in Vietnam
  • Ever Increasing troops sent to Vietnam

    In march, Johnson sends combat forces to Vietnam with American support. By June 82,000 were stationed and the General was asking for 175,000 more by the end of the year

  • A Final Peace agreement between U.S. and N. Korea

    Last troops return home by the end of 1973 from Vietnam although the conflict is not completely resolved
