    The French, UK and USA merge their sanctions of Germany to form West Germany after Russia refused to end their occupation of Germany.

    As a response to France, UK and USA creating West Germany. Russia cut off all roads and flow of resources into Berlin, starving the people who lived there. The Western Allies airlifted supplies and food into blockaided Berlin in what became known as the Berlin Airlift.
