    This event is important because it marks changing in society and it marks a tremendous occasion for stepping forward as a nation. This allows more people to become citizens and it means that more bumps will be in the road for law making and voting.

    15th Amendment
    This gives minority males the right to vote, so black males can now vote. this is important becuase it marks the time when black people get their rights and can do anything that the whites can do. This shows that they are making strides to make things equal.

    This is when the seprem court decided that the states were taking measures far enough to get blacks not to vote. They outlawed the clause because it didn't allow many blacks to vote and be able to vote.

    The 19th amendment gave women the ight to vote. It allows them to cast their votes just the same as men. They worked for this for a long time and the government complyed with their wish and gave them the right to vote.

    Poll taxes were taxes that were placed on the people when they decided to go off and vote. There were important because they didn't allow a few people to vote due to the lack of money.
