    Thomas S. Kuhn was born on July 18, 1922, to Samuel L. Kuhn, an industrial engineer, and Minette Stroock Kuhn.

    Thomas Kuhn earned his Bachelors Degree in 1943 and his Master's Degree in 1946 in physics at the prestige Harvard University. He later earned his Ph.D at Harvard University in1949 but for History of Science.

    Thomas Kuhn throughout his career published a lot of books with one major blockbuster titled, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions where he argued that scientific research and thought are defined by “paradigms,” or conceptual world-views, that consist of formal theories, classic experiments, and trusted methods. This introduced into the scientific community the now followed principle that is defined as paradigm change or shift.
