The city of Caral is the earliest known civilization in the Americas. This gave the Americas hope that they could create civilizations.

During this time period, the Middle Kingdom reunited lower and upper Egypt creating one of the first big civilizations.

The Code of Hammurabi was a Babylonian code of law of ancient Mesopotamia. This helped unite regions with one another to grow.

Creation of Monarchy in Israel

This new Monarchy that was created, added structure in our civilizations making them function as a whole unit.

Assyria Destroys Northern Kingdom of Israel

722 BCE

This was when Sargon II destroyed the Northern Kingdom showing his power and his passion. He was able to lead a civilization to success.

Return of Babylon

The return of Babylon gave civilizations hope, that even after rough patches you can still succeed. Babylon was able to then be a successful civilization.

Conquests of Cyrus

Cyrus led a revolt against the Median Empire and continue to take over completely. Cyrus then continued growing his empire and civilization.

Darius was known as "Darius the Great." His name represents how he used his power, during his reign the Persian Empire reached its peak as a civilization and empire. Darius showed civilians how civilizations were built.
